Aliance: How to make gold at low levels for Mining & Herbalism

Author: Leveling mining and herbalism are the two easiest ways of earning gold at low levels. Selling ore and herbs on the Auction House is a good way to get a nice amount of gold as you are leveling up. It is even quite useful to farm gold like this on higher levels. It is an advice that you download the Gatherer addon which will track all of your discovered ores and herbs so you don’t have to roam around trying to remember where a vein or a herb was on the map.
Mining
Where to find the trainers?
Mining trainers can be located:
* Brock Stoneseeker (Loch Modan)
* Dank Dizzlecut (Dun Morogh)
* Dulvi (Azuremyst Isle)
* Gelman Stonehand (Stormwind City)
* Geofram Bouldertoe (City of Ironforge)
* Hurnak Grimmord (Hellfire Peninsula)
* Kurdram Stonehammer (Darkshore)
* Matt Johnson (Duskwood)
* Muaat (The Exodar)
* Yarr Hammerstone (Dun Morogh)
Best areas to mine:
Best areas where you can mine Copper ore are Dun Morogh and Elwynn Forest.
For Tin ore you should scour the eastern parts of the Redridge Mountains and Loch Modan.
For Iron ore and Gold ore it is recommend to go to Alterac Mountains. Other places like Ashenvale, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, Arathi Highliands and Badlands are also nice.
For Mithril ore and Truesilver ore you should go to Highperch located in the Thousand Needles. Badlands is also a good location for Mithril ores. The best area there is Lethlor Ravine.
Best places for Thorium ore and Dark Iron ore are Searing Gorge and the Burning Steppes.

* Tannysa (Stormwind City)
* Telurinon Moonshadow (Wetlands)
* Uma Bartulm (Dustwallow Marsh)
Best areas to find herbs:
Best areas to find Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot erbalism are Elwynn Forest and Teldrassil.
Continue to Westfall for more of the Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot and you will also find Mageroyal.
Redridge Mountains and Stonetalon Mountains are the best areas for Bruiseweed and also in the North part of Stonetalon you will be able to find Kingsblood and Wild Steelbloom.
Duskwood is also rich in these two.
Fadeleaf can be found in Arathi Highlands, Alterac Mountains and the Hinterlands.
The herb heaven, aka the Swamp of Sorrows, is home to Khadgar’s Whiskers in example and a lot more different herbs.
Feralas is a nice area for Sungrass.

Hello,This add on is remarkable and is what I feel I need. I am, heowver, a new player and I am still playing the first game disk. I have another disk to play then on to death of the lych King and then on to Cataclysm. Will this guide work for me since I am playing the first disk. I am at level 47 with my Main Hunter Character who has Mining and skining. I have a dwarf at level 28 who is at the Auction house in Ironforge. My Hunter/Miner mails all of his findings to the Dwarf who then sells it on the Auction house. Should I wait until I reach Cataclysm, Or will your guide help me now at this low level??Thak you for any info you can provide.Robert.

You wrote a question on my blog and asked me weather this addon will do you any good if your playing the first game disk. My answer is yes. You can start using Tycoon even from level 1. It doesn’t matter if your level 20 or 85, you can still manipulate the auction house and start making gold alongside leveling you character. Even the gathering modules are of use to a low level, because it will show the best available places for your character to gather low level materials and make some money. The best thing is that it is entirely based on your severs economy and you will always be able to squeeze some gold whatever level you are. If you buy the addon it won’t go away anywhere, so you might as-well start making gold from low levels. By the way it has 60day policy on refunds, if you don’t like it – you can ask for your money back, so you can fully try out the addon yourself and ask yourself weather you need it or not.
